With very reasonable pricing and outstanding overall quality, this hotel offers exceptional value for money—surpassing many properties around Kyoto Station in both comfort and experience."

"My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at Ace Hotel. The room was lovely and spacious and we loved the decor. We slept so well, the bed and quality of bedding was faultless. We loved having the record player in the room and access to more records from reception. Such a good room rate too for how much you get and excellent location. Would love to return."

"The hotel was very helpful in assisting us receiving our suitcases through Airporter service. Furthermore, they assisted us in paying cash for a parcel delivery that we organised from Tokyo. We booked two three night bookings separately and they made it very easy to link the two bookings so we did not need to change rooms. The room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed staying there for 6 nights. The smart TV allowed us to easily stream YouTube on TV. The only thing that I wish they did was service the room every two days rather than every three days. The distance to the subway station was not as close as we would have liked but it is an easy walk on a wide flat pathway majority of the way so easy for wheeling suitcases. The hotel is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Whilst not surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafe, there are still many variety of eatery options in the surrounding area within short walking distance. We felt the hotel felt like a home in Kyoto. It was perfect for a family of four with the amount of space it offered. "
