With new safety guidelines to follow, travel looks a little different today. These are some helpful things to know before you head off to Shire of Cooloola:

• Investigate if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before locking in your flight. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll need to follow on arrival, such as testing and quarantining.
• Requirements state you must wear a face mask at the airport, including at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to adjust your mask for ID verification when asked.

• You can now take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your hand luggage. This will need to be removed for screening.
• Place any personal items (e.g, keys, phone and coins) in your carry-on instead of a bin to minimize handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you have for screening. Putting it in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA agent to touch and inspect your belongings.
