「There was one guy and a lady worked at the reception during my stay. The lady was very helpful and provide good Japanese service. However, the guy was not polite at all and sounds like a police when he asked us not to bring our food from breakfast to outside coffee area. 「This was a gem for our ski trip. Before checkin the staff was very helpful with transportation suggestions and questions. Because the road to the hotel is not drivable in the winter you call the hotel from the parking/bus area and they come and pick you up via snowmobile, this in itself was a fun experience for my son. The room was quite, clean, and had the right amenities. The food was Japanese but very good and staff ensures dietary restrictions are met. 」

「I came to shiga kogen for skiing. The hotel location is excellent. You can have either 3 mins driving to Yokoteyama ski area or 5 mins driving to central area.
