「The room was perfect for our purposes, which was basically having a place to sleep when the long days were over. It was clean, reasonably priced and the restaurant had great food. I'm sure we will be back.」

「The property is beautiful, front desk was professional, breakfast was great. The room was a different story. The curtain must be completely open otherwise the ac blows straight up into the very large voluminous curtain and not into the room at all. The bed is a lowrider about a foot off the ground and the mattresses are set inside some kind of roomy wooden box atop a nest of old hair and dead bugs. The mattresses are like blankets on cardboard. 「Definitely historical. There are so many updates that could be done to this hotel without disturbing the history though. Our room had fixtures like a shelf above the sink that was falling out of the wall, the bathtub was not able to be used except to shower as there was no plug for the drain, just little minor things to update the rooms.」
