"The hotel had newly been refurbished, so our room was brightly fitted out and very clean (and was also spacious). All the staff were very friendly and wishing to help, which made for a very enjoyable stay overall."

"Staff, service and food were excellent. Exactly when you'd come to expect from a Holiday Inn. Sadly however the room looked tired and in need of some much needed TLC with a distinct lack of beside plugs and although the room was at far end of the building and away from general foot traffic it was right above the air handling units and plant so was noisey at night. The pool and locker rooms werent much better. The locker room was dirty (however, it was late in the day) and there was a nasty smell and the pool generally needed a refresh. All in all.though if you just need a base for a few days close to the motorway and Meadowhall with good food then this is worth a look. "

"The room was clean apart from a few cobwebs. We were on the top floor which was really hot, could benefit from an openable window or a fan. Other than that we had a great stay."

"What an amazing stay! The room was spacious, quiet and clean. The staff were also great and made our stay a lot nicer."

"The room was fine, but had a strange smell. The air conditioner was too hot, and didnt seem to cool the room down. The fridge didnt work in the room. Staff at the front desk seemed distracted, telling me that maintenance had been, but I ended up fixing it myself in the end. Note: if the is light on in the fridge doesn't mean the fridge is on. No room service "

"Room was dated and worn, and smelt a bit musty. Dust everywhere including remote control. Shower didn’t work and handle on bath was broken. Told parking was free on website but it’s £3 a night. Only ideal if you need a quick kip before moving on. Won’t be staying again "
