Great place to stay in Sheffield near the university with on site free parking which was great. Staff really friendly and we ate there in the evening and although it was fully booked they found us a table. Plenty of choice on menu and they had gluten free options which was great for us. Will stay there again.

I stayed overnight, the staff were all lovely, very welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely, beautifully decorated and full of little extras that made for a great stay at a great price. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

My daughter and I stayed two nights at the Florentine, the safe are happy and nothing is to much trouble. The rooms are lovely, the food is good and we really relaxed and enjoyed our stay. Would love to go back again.

Far enough away from City Centre but not so far you feel isolated. It is a quaint converted 19th century mansion property with a very relaxed vibe. The restaurant on the ground floor was always full of locals so you know the food is good. Everything you would expect from a local inn. Free, delicious chocolate chips cookies everyday! Within walking distance of the Botanic Gardens and if you have a bike, the Peak District is also close by. I loved Sheffield and I loved the Florentine.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner downstairs. There was plenty of parking space. The hotel was well maintained considering how old the house itself is.

Very clean and stylish. Thanks all friendly staff who provided us great services. When we booked the dinner with 10 people, we were offered to use one of their private rooms full of classic characters.

We have just returned from a short stay at The Florentine where we had an excellent stay. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, the room was immaculately clean, very spacious and included dressing gowns, high end refreshments and toiletries which is a really nice touch. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and enjoyed the well presented, tasty food. We look forward to visiting Sheffield again and will definitely stay at the Florentine again.

Great place for a stop and evening meal

A great overnight stop with good food and beer in the restaurant. It wasn’t warm in the public areas or the room but it was cold weather outside. The room heater struggled and was a bit noisy

Lovely stay, staff all very attentive and helpful. Also a great location for me as my daughter is a student and staying at Ranmore which was literally a few minutes walk so she joined me for dinner and breakfast. Only thing I would say was the bathroom smelt a bit damp which may have been the drains and the bed and pillows could have been a bit comfier but I am a fussy sleeper, so it was fine overall and I will definitely stay again.

Unfortunately my room was directly over the services and delivery area at the back of the Hotel above the kitchens and there was a constant noise and vibration from Air conditioning/Extractor Fans-could not sleep.
