Not bad, not great

If you are familiar with Chinese culture and language, this place is pretty good. Good value and a great location. However, the staff didn't understand much English. Not a worry if you have a grasp of the language, but something to consider. Also, the beds are a bit harder than western standards and if you dont have a chinese cell phone, there is no house phone.

Awesome location. Basic rooms on the small side but functional for the great price. In an alley off the Main Street so no traffic noise but some kids in the playground next door during the day

When i got there at about 2 pm, the room hadn't got clean unbelievable. And the room had no window, we could breath in room. Finally, at this price, we have no choice to pick a room at this great location. hope they can get improved

古風な雰囲気に改装されたばかり？で清潔だし、落ち着いた雰囲気はよい。はじめて歩くと少し距離を感じたが便利な南京西路からすぐなのでロケーションもよい。こじんまりした部屋で居心地は悪くないが、ただ冷蔵庫は無理としても、PCなどが使える程度のデスクまたはデスク状の棚などがあるとありがたい。それと、ここもまた、シャワーを浴びるとシャワールームの外に水があふれるような構造になっていたのが残念。

We had a pretty bad experience. The A/C wasn’t working and we had to ask for 30min to get it on. It felt suffocating in one of the rooms. Also, loud construction started at 7am, rendering us unable to sleep and we had an important meeting to be ready for. Also, we were charged for breakfast and actually they don’t provide breakfast anymore because of no license. Our stay in March was not like this and we will not stay here again.

私は一番安いシングルに宿泊しました。窓なし。まあ価格並みです。 ただ、日本で5000円出せば、もう少しこぎれいかな（笑）他の諸外国も同価格帯で同じような感じのホテルは沢山あります。 なので、皆さんが言うように、少々汚いホテルの経験がある方の方が良いでしょう。 スタッフも、笑顔はありませんが、あまりサービスを求めなければ、まあまあだと思います。英語も少々使えます。 デポジットでチェックイン時100元とられます。チェックアウトの時に返されます。 朝食は特に予約の際に記載が無かったのですが、フロア横で皆食べていたので、私も食べてしまいました。今となっては付いてたのかどうか。。。 ホテル入り口は、併設の運動施設？と一緒なので、少々戸惑いますが、ホテルはこっち！みたいな文字が道路から見えますので、わかると思います。（メイン写真のホテルエントランスは道路から見えません。） 食事は道路沿いに、ポークがメインのレストランバーが一番近く、あとは地元の人が入るような麺屋さんとか、果物屋さんとか、勇気出してエイやっで入る店が数点あります。 それが苦手なら、ホテル背面、リッツカールトンがメイン通りにありまして、札幌ラーメンやら、居酒屋やら、欧風レスラン、バーなどもありますので。 ホテル近くに地元のコンビニもあります。

Cockroach problem

I had to move rooms due to a cockroach infestation on my first room. I had already asked them if I could move as I was concerned about noise and they told me there were no other rooms with a window. After the cockroaches they moved me, so they were also not telling the truth.There was no bottled water though it states online, on every website, that there is. Quaint looking place but customer service from the stoneages. Very hard beds

Nice Location

1 minutes walk to Liz carton Shanghai Portman where having restaurants and a super market. Those are expensive compared to others in the city, but foods seem clean and safe. The hotel itself is normal. Good for business use.

上海商城劇場に行くために宿泊しました。 目的地ととても近く、帰りの交通を心配しなくて済む点は良かったです。 82＊＊のルームキーをもらいましたが、8階が無くフロントにフロアを確認したところ、2階だと言われ・・・ 説明するかエレベーター等に掲示してもらいたいところです。 同じフロアを移動する際にもなぜか階段がある不思議な造りで、やや不便です。 とはいえ、周囲のホテルより抑えた金額で便利な場所でしたので概ね満足しています。

二泊したが初日間違いなくシーツ布団枕カバー交換されていない！臭い！差別になるので言わないが！臭いでわかる！フロントに言い交換し臭いがなくなり、でも気持ちが落ち着かない！窓が開いて部屋を選んだが！壁！2度と近寄りたくないホテルとゆうか？民宿以下！
