Amazingly fantastic breakfast served with Abalone porridge전복죽, Fern고사리YukGyeJang육계장 and korean side dishes, caprese salad, soups, breads, all kinds of wester varieties at very reasonable price! Awesome!

Our stay at the Seogwipo JS Hotel was very good. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had a separate shower (so no worries of water spraying everywhere). The staff was friendly- even the more silent, "gruff" parking attendant :). The area was quiet, walking distance to restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic, with lots of variety and delicious food. The breakfast staff was wonderful, too! Would stay here again, and would recommend!

The room was immaculate and very clean when we checked in. Large and spacious. Beds comfortable too. Downside is big cars would need to park in an outdoor parking lot around 3 mins away from the hotel

Front desk staff helpful and accommodating. Presentation excellent, parking onsite really good. Convenience store 24/7 that caters for most immediate needs with foods cold drinks and general necessities. HOWEVER, it was let down greatly, the eco slippers were dirty, 2nd hand frankly grotesque, the previous guests dirty socks under the bed which was not welcome and shows the standard when it comes to housekeeping. Breakfast offering was excellent with choices abundant from western to local. Coffee was so so from auto machine.

We were there for the transjeju trail race. Excellent location for the event, walking distance to the stadium. Staffs speak enough English to communicate. Check in time was straight 2pm, and they won’t even handle the admin first, so the service felt a little cold at first. Most staffs are friendly and helpful, especially when we needed an iron the night before check out, their house keeping works only during the day, so front house staffs helped to locate the iron for us. Breakfast was basic, with fruits, bread and yogurt a bunch of stuffs from last night buffet leftovers. Parking was extremely easy at the hotel, lots of restaurants nearby, one 7-11 right downstairs, another on the same block and big supermarket in walking distance.

Nice well located hotel but service lacking

Clean basic room with tea/coffee making facilities, we used the gym facilities which is offered at a discount to residents, not for free, which was not advertised at time of booking. Decently stocked gym for a hotel. Good location, close to transport, but what brought the rating down was the service at breakfast. The manager reprimanded us for arriving to the buffet at 9.15 despite breakfast being advertised as ending at 9.30? He then advised us to arrive at 8am the following morning - even though breakfast was meant to be until 9.30? Change the advertised times if you don’t want people arriving after 9am. This left a sour taste in our mouth.

There is a lot to like about this hotel. The only issue I had was that everything costs extra, such as the health center and the pool. The pool costs 7,000 per person, and requires you to wear swim caps. The staff at the pool didn't speak English and didn't want to let me in because my swim trunks weren't the typical Korean Speedo style. Also, there are separate men and women entrances to the pool and you MUST go through the shower and sauna, so if you are a single parent with young children of the opposite gender, this is a HUGE problem since you can't watch your children at all. VERY POOR pool design and management!!! Other than that, the hotel room was clean with good air conditioning, comfortable beds, a decent TV, and a nice view of the nearby city and ocean. Employees at the desk were kind, and there is a 7/11 convenience store on the first floor. I would recommend this hotel to anyone (except for the pool) but be aware that using other facilities costs extra and the automatic car park doesn't accommodate SUVs and very large cars. Still, the hotel was a nice value for the room price (minus all the extra Jeju city fees) and we had a nice stay there overall.
