「I would highly recommend spending a little extra for a room with a private pool. We made great use of ours, along with the spacious balcony. The room itself was a good size, clean, and comfortable. Because it’s a smaller property, the hotel felt quiet and relaxed, and the main pool and beach area were never crowded. Bocana Beach is very quiet, but a gorgeous place for a long walk. The hotel restaurant is so good, but there are also a couple of places right on the beach if you want cheap eats or a drink. 2 minutes away is a nice park where you can see some ruins and get a little exercise. We saw whales on 2 occasions form the hotel roof top restaurant! The manger Elio was extremely helpful everthing - transfers, restaurants and spanish lessons!
