The room was clean but bed was a bit hard. Service was friendly and quick. We ate at multiple restaurants and food was good to excellent. Some may find the food to be pricy. 2 pools were both nice and one had a view ocean. The hotel has a place to fill bottles with drinking water.

We got a deluxe room which is a room with a small private pool. The room was on the first floor which limited the view of the ocean but it was pretty private with big plants in front. We didn't spend that much time in the room so it was good. A couple of things that the hotel can improve on... - internet/wifi is unreliable. - beach furniture can be updated. - a small refrigerator and microwave would be good to have in the room. Other than that, the service was always very good and the food tends to be excellent in the different restaurants jn the property.

We had a private pool overlooking the ocean and pool area which was fantastic. The hotel staff were wonderful. We tried all seven restaurants and enjoyed them all, we can't wait to come back.

Absolutely the best poolside service staff ever! Daniel, Tye, Hector, Eric and Toño made sure all the guests were happy and had drinks and food they wanted at all times. Our two week stay was fun and the pool staff made sure we had the loungers and umbrellas just how we liked them whenever we came to the pool for a relaxing time and a swim.

Where to begin...let's just say that if you are looking for a higher end, relaxing vacation....this AIN'T IT! However, if you enjoy base thumping music from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., come and get it. We had a prepaid 21 day visit to what appears as a 5 star hotel...big mistake, BIG MISTAKE! We spoke to many other guests and they were just as appalled by the noise. In fact, we know of one particular couple who also prepaid, but cut their loses and let this resort for another. We would have left too, but was refused any sort of refund. During our stay there were at least 3 weddings and a birthday party hosted right on the beach in front of the pools. Live bands singing until 11:00 p.m. No consideration to the guests who paid to stay there, no prior notification of these events. Qunita Bella needs to decide if it is going to be a hotel or a wedding venue. There is not enough square footage for both. That being said, the daily staff does a great job. All interactions were friendly and polite. Not sure I can say the same about the management. I was able to pick out a couple of people (women in navy blue sheath dresses) stomping about, never smiling or greeting guests. They were frequently seen meeting with nervous looking staff, sitting a public tables. Please, meet in private. Quinta Bella, you need to read the room. More than 90% of the guests, I would say, are 60+ years old and retired. They want to be here and spend their money in peace.

Overall hotel is good. Location beautiful, pools, restaurants great. Our room was really nice, had a superior mountain view which is in the updated wing and on the quiet, shady side (could use a fridge) Did look over parking/entrance to hotel but it’s a non issue, nice quiet break from endless music around pool. Hotel would be better if they played more Spanish, quiet music. Would lend itself to the natural ambience of the hotel. People pick that hotel because it’s a boutique hotel, beautiful scenery, they are not there to rock out at the pool. Another example, eating breakfast with a beautiful view but having to listen to rock music, restaurants play the wrong music too. At different times of the day restaurants compete with the pool music and it’s not very relaxing. They need to coordinate there music and take a look at what they are playing and turn it down.

The good stuff: staff at the pool and on the beach were great--very attentive without being overbearing. Food was solid. Breakfast at Marea was delicious. The rest: The lobby is a disaster--the desk is weirdly pushed back into a corner and is overrun with folks having to trade their towel card (don't dare lose it--$25 fine!) in for towels as you're trying to check-in--why not have the towels available at the pool?. Parking is haphazard and the security guards are brusque to say the least-although two women who let you into the lot were friendly. A promised bellhop never showed up. A lousy welcome across the board. Our "superior" room (#9, btw) had a view of the side of a car, unusable wifi, no phone in room to call for service (had to call via WhatsApp), no hot water, wasn't cleaned for first two days. Couldn't have been further from the pool. It was so disappointing we actually paid for an airbnb and just used the hotel as s a beach club. Talking of which, even though we spent money there everyday on the final night when we left for our other room we were chased by security to settle our tab even though we were supposed to check out in the morning. Just weird.

The location is spectacular. A very relax vibe Less than 100 m from beach to pool . Waves are a bit strong yet swimmable. 20 minutes walk to La Crucecita. Our room (king deluxe on 2nd floor) had a perfect balcony with a little pool where we can see the sunrise every morning . The restaurants at the hotel are gourmet . We will be back

We stayed at Quinta Bella from Feb. 10 - 24. Our stay was awesome. From the clean rooms to the friendly staff. Centrally located so walking to places was easy. The grounds around the hotel are immaculate. The two pools on the beach were great! Got to watch a whale show right from the pool! Special shout out to our housekeeper Catalina. She was the best! Will definitely be back!

Quinta Bella is a beautiful hotel right on Playa Chahue. We have stayed there several times, but the beds are very hard. We finally found a better bed in one of the more expensive suites. Room 3002.We stayed there last year and decided to rebook this year. The room itself needs improvement as the water closet and sink are in the same small space. And there's no closet and and safe that doesn't work. But the view is beautiful and it has nice deck. However, this year, the rate almost doubled and we had problems with sewer smell in the room. The first three nights were unbearable. The maintenance people came twice to fix, but even after the second time, the smell, although better, was still there. Because we aren't able to sleep on the beds in the other rooms, we worked to fix the remaining smell ourselves. We covered the trap in the small water closet with lots of towels, and kept the air conditioner fan on at all times. This seemed to keep the smell down, and shutting the water closet door kept it contained. We asked management to give us a refund for at least three nights, but they have not answered back. They seem unconcerned. We are upset about this because we really do like the place. If the management were to refund us, and confirm the smell is gone, we would go back.

Daniel, the pool bartender was amazing. Our room was clean. Would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in our room. Flor was very high protein protein.helpful at breakfast.
