"Great location for our stay for the Big Sur Marathon! Room was nice and we appreciated our fireplace. Some issues were that the parking was very limited. Also, I had called a month in advance and then a few days in advance for a small late check out just so I could just shower after my marathon and before our long plane ride home. I was told just to talk to the front desk. I spoke with the front desk and was told they could not allow me any additional time for a late check out. I only needed at most an hour past the original checkout. Ended up having to play 20 dollars to shower at a near by gym. Kind of disappointing as majority of the rooms seemed to be other runners as well."

"I loved everything about this property. The room was spacious, clean, with beautiful natural light. The amenities were 10/10 nice fire pits close to the beach and services provided to you. the only coral I had with the property was the front desk. While standing in line I was skipped every time probably do to the way I was dressed. Front desk could have easily handled it by telling the people in front of us that we were waiting. Other than that, location was perfect and central to where I needed to be. Also being close to the freeway I heard zero traffic and slept through the night/day."

"Good, no-frills, affordable place to stay with my dog for 3 nights. Also only about 20-40 minutes direct drive to places around Monterey Bay. Does have a lack of basic amenities (no shampoo, shower gel), only one tiny bar of soap for bathroom shower and sink. Staff friendly and helpful."

"The above ground parking lot is awkward. But the underground parking garage is spacious, though there's some water along one wall. The staff was nice. The front desk is staffed 24 hours. The lobby area offers filtered cold/hot water and coffee, teas, and hot cocoa. We happened to get an ADA room. The shower opening had no shower curtain. Water splashed quite far. Third of the bathroom floor stayed wet for quite a while. The inn is located on a busy street. The traffic noise including rushing ambulances can be noisy. Also, being on the first floor, we could hear foot steps above and sounds from surrounding rooms. There are many restaurants, Trader Joe's, and Monterey Bay within walking distance."
