I must have walked by this hotel more than 100 times when I lived in Seattle. I did not stay in it until I moved away. Gorgeous personal space with a fireplace in the living room. Humongous tub in the bathroom, the largest I’ve seen in any hotel. Very roomy, classic old style with cozy finishes and furnishings. Excellent quality service as well. Large selection of quality restaurants, bars and cafes in the neighborhood. Lots of mom & pop type boutiques too. Ballard is so cool. This hotel is too. Would definitely stay there again.

Not full handicap parking on site. My full size vehicle was too tall. Was able to find street parking around the corner. I couldn’t shut down the in room HVAC. The heat/ac was off but the fan continued to run all night sounding like running water. Kept waking up from the noise. I couldn’t get the desk lamp to work. For the cost, I didnt expect issues but it was for only one night. It was just close to the venue and wanted to feel safer than other choices.

We loved the convenient location to downtown Ballard. Lots of places to eat and walk to. We did have a car and utilized the parking garage. It the parking garage was better lit that would have been ideal. The lights are motion sensitive but it is pitch dark in the garage until you are literally already in the spot that you need lighting for. Had I been traveling by myself as a single woman I would have been very hesitant to use the garage for safety reasons.
