Beautiful house & beautiful area! The owners were very friendly and hospitable. Walking distance to restaurants and bars ! Will definitely be visiting Seattle again and staying here!
In all of my travels never have I been sad to leave a hotel or B&B until now. This place truly felt like a home away from home. The staff was lovely; always so friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was so fresh and good. Every time I come to Seattle I am staying here!!
This is a wonderful place to stay. The facilities were perfect as were the hosts, Ryan and Joelle. The neighborhood is perfect for walking and has plenty of restaurants. The is the nicest place I've stayed in Seattle bar none. I can't enough good things about this property and the owners. I will be back over and over.
Loved our experience at this charming property! Our flight was delayed so we ended up getting in pretty late but Ryan and Joelle were super accommodating and our self check in process was a breeze. We loved our unique and exquisitely decorated room, and the shower was stocked with permanent bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was a very convenient (and eco friendly) touch!
We would definitely recommend this property to anyone coming to Seattle, and hope to stay here again!
Beautiful arts and crafts inn with friendly and helpful inn keepers. Breakfast sufficient but nothing special. In a lovely and quiet neighborhood and close to public transportation. I would highly recommend it.

Paid CA 295. - for one night - for upper room with bathroom down small flights of stairs inconvenient for seniors -did not know - something about VIP service - not sure what this was - no bottle of wine - continental breakfast - very overpriced in comparison to b and b we stayed in first 3 nights of stay which was full for our last night of stay. Friendly staff. Very clean inside
In almost every way the Gaslight Inn is a five star experience, but as much as I wanted to give it five stars I couldn't because of two issues. The good: The property is charming both inside and out. It was very clean. The rooms were quiet. The bed comfortable and the pillows usable (too many properties give you pillows that look great is pictures but are terrible to sleep on). The owners (who live on the property) were veryf friendly and helpful.
The Issues: Parking, it is all street parking which is in very short supply. And what parking is available requires paralell parking into tight spaces. It is quite possible you will have to park blocks away and walk. The easy fix is not to bring a car, ubers are very quick here (often arriving before you can walk out to the street).
The TV - The situation with the in room tvs is terrible. They are streaming only and you only have access to two streaming services (Hulu and one other). There is no cable or over the air channels. When on vacation I like to watch the local news to check the weather. This was not easy to do and required a lot of searching and scrolling, the owner said the local stations were on Hulu under the "live" catagorie.. there was no live catagory. Sometimes a broadcast would show up marked live.. but it was not consistant. The TV would also buffer and crash to black screen, and if someone rang the Ring doorbell.. its video would show on the screen and crash your program.
This was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, with wonderful hosts too. You can't beat it, price is absolutely fair and it is cozy to the extreme.
Its not stated that its a shared restroom until after you book the room. And on arrival There was dirty towels on the floor of the restroom. It clearly states free parking, but they charge fifteen dollars for a parking pass And it's street only parking. There's nowhere to park anywhere around there i havd to park 3 blocks away. This place is absolutely ridiculously horrible. Do not go there.
