Honest Review from a Family of 5 (2 Adults, 3 Kids)
We stayed here for what was supposed to be 3 nights but only got 2, even though we paid for all 3. Our flight was canceled, so we called ahead to let the hotel know we’d be checking in a day late and staying an extra day to complete the 3-night stay. They confirmed it was fine. But on the second night, we were told we had to check out and were refused a refund for the third night. The manager blamed Expedia and only waived our parking fees — which we appreciated — but we were left without a room for the day with our 10, 8, and 1-year-old kids.
The room itself was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. We slept great and loved having the full kitchen. Breakfast had good variety and tasted good too.
Unfortunately, the pool was extremely dirty — we saw someone's underwear left on the side and hair and grime by the steps. Very off-putting, especially compared to the otherwise clean hotel.
The staff was friendly, but the lack of follow-through and compassion was disappointing. We tried to do everything right and were still left in a tough spot. We would’ve returned despite the pool, but the poor handling of our situation changed that. Unexpected things happen when traveling, and kindness goes a long way. We didn’t feel that here.
