「I am going to celebrate my husband's wedding. The hotel is cosy and unique, it has a nice restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast during our stay, and a small library bar where you can chill with friends. The room is spacious and warm, we love this hotel.」

Liked fresh cooked breakfast (as opposed to usual buffets) however I would love to see a better drinkable coffee being served and a little gripe - after requesting hard poached egg with no ‘snot’ my egg was totally snotty when I cut it and ran into my breakfast so didn’t eat much. 「Lovely staff, all friendly and proud of the Inns History. We were there on a very quiet night! Lovely large room with a 4 poster bed and excellent bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast beat us, freshly prepared as we came down. 」

「Property clean and convenient to Seaham. Two short flights of stairs to rooms with 3 sets of doors to go through. No lift and no help to get luggage to room. Registration at bar and staff was busy with patrons so check in and out took time. Parking on site. Security good. 」

The spa is good but restricted to just one hour and also restricted to just the pool, can’t use the nice spa pool without paying another £70 per person per day so be aware of that. The hotel location is good, walkable to the park and ride and each to get into the centre etc. 」
