"The location of this home is very misleading. Although if you search the exact location, you will find it’s in/near the forest but looking at the pics posted you would think it was near the beach and it is not. I could overlook that if the home was stocked with everything needed and beds were comfortable but that was not the case. We were given 5 bath towels for 4 people for 4days, 1 dish cloth, 1 hand towel and 1 dirty sponge with no washer or dryer and no dishwasher. Extra towels were dropped...

"Wow! This was the most beautiful place. The property is tucked up on a beautiful lot of trees and ferns. Our room was just gorgeous with beautiful furniture, wallpaper and a fireplace. I couldn’t believe we were staying in such a storybook place. I found Mike at the checkin super kind and helpful. He also gave great recommendations for hiking based on my husband’s mobility needs. His advice was perfect—made our trip! You can literally enter Acadia from the trails directly behind the hotel....

"This motel is the worst lodging I have ever encountered. There is no standard to compare it - makes Motel 6 look like a luxury hotel. The reception and staff were cold and rude. I was traveling with my daughter and we didn't feel safe or comfortable. There were random men sitting around outside in the parking lot when we checked into our room. The lock on the room didn't seem very secure and we didn't feel comfortable at all. The room had a terrible odor of old and damp wood from the dark wood...
