An older historic inn with quaint comfortable rooms and very good service. Close to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and Central to the rest of the island without the hustle and crowds of Bar Harbor. It was nice to retire each evening sitting by the fire pit enjoying the sounds of nature.
This nostalgic inn was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Acadia with our pup. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the continental breakfast was appreciated, and the store next door with the delicious clam chowder rounded out the experience.
Miss Evelyn and Miss Dan were outstanding hosts. They have been in the area for a while and they know all the nice little quiet spots to visit and beat the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor.
Room was very clean. Bed was dated but still comfortable. Shower was relatively small Heat was single electric radiator that at 38 degrees was needed though power went off that night when breakers tripped.. Nice staff and great location
Nice park but very crowded. Carpet in room needed cleaned. Very small shower. Excellent breakfast and staff knowledgeable/helpful. Nice market attached. Nice area to walk pet. Would return.
Quaint, cozy and warm. Lived Nanny at the sun porch breakfast spot. After camping a few days, this place was a respite and a delight. Our room smelled so clean! Definitely coming back next year!
What a cute mountainside place. Loved to hometown feel and friendly staff. The market next door(which belongs to hotel) is great- has everything including whole, fresh lobsters that they will cook for you!
Very cozy , great atmosphere, very friendly staff and any requests taken care right away . Clean and comfortable. Close to trail , leading into park.great recommendations for local food / attractions
Away from the hustle and bustle of busy tourist spots. Lacking amenities as it is an older building with very comfortable and clean accommodations. No hair dryer and minimal lighting and plug ins, but so worth the location and comfort. The market has the best prices lobster meals. Check the hours of the store before arriving as we missed out on that benefit. Would love to return!
Nice little place, we enjoyed our stay, convenient location & easy to get to. Small shower but you could get the job done, the beds could use an upgrade on the mattress but it wasn’t a deal breaker, breakfast was more than adequate to get you to lunch, I myself enjoyed it, will definitely be back to spend more time at Otter Creek!!!!!!
A wonderful experience. Rooms were well kept. The continental breakfast was fine. The staff was helpful and informative in giving suggestions for sites and activities. If we go to Acadia and Bar Harbor again, Otter Creek Inn will be our first choice for a place to stay.
Dawn was sweet and helpful, the room was clean, and there was a shop next door for all of your adventure needs. I will recommend to any friends or family coming to the area, we will definitely be back! Also amazing views just 10 minutes away. Say hi to Jimmy Wiggles for us.
The Inn was cute and cozy, very home-like. Homemade muffins were great for breakfast. My only complaint was the beds are old innerspring mattresses. They were not the most comfortable to sleep on. There was no microwave or AC, but we were cool enough with fans.
Charming and well kept inn with easy access to several Acadia NP trails. Beautiful views of the mountains, and nearby market has a good selection and lobster menu
Great place to stay near Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park! Amazing for families and picnics! Breakfast was really good! Blueberry muffins and the blueberry jelly from Maine so delicious with a warm croissant!!! I would live there the rest of my life
Perfect location. Very clean and well maintained. Grocery store right beside the building. Breakfast has the best muffin I have ever had.

We had a nice stay at Otter Creek Inn. The room was comfortable enough, the outside area was lovely, and breakfast was good. However, the bathroom could use some maintenance - the door to our bathroom did not close, and the squishy bathtub mat didn't feel very hygienic.
