NH Hotel Porto Jardim

"Great location, lovely modern rooms. Unfortunately we woke to no water so unable to shower or even flush toilets but that was out of their control as construction outside had severed water pipe for whole street! They gave us free parking to apologise. We’d definitely return"

"It was our first stay at this hotel and I could not praise their services enough. All staff are exceedingly attentive and friendly. The accommodation was excellent, Breakfast very good and varied and the swimming pool was really good, heated (rare in Portugal) at the right temperature. The bar service by the pool was also excellent. Front desk staff helped us with booking restaurants, taxis, transfers, places to visit and with every question we had. The hotel location is very central so we could walk to most spots. No doubt we will be staying there again."

"This location was top notch. The bathrooms were massive with great water pressure and hot water. Beds were super comfy. Air conditioning in every space! There was even a washer to use. There is an elevator on the second floor, but you will have to be able to get your luggage up the first set of stairs. The views from the balconies will be our Christmas Card pictures this year!"

"The Catalonia Porto was a very good spot for our two night stay. Breakfast was very good including a machine that freshly squeezed orange juice. Delicious! Staff was very helpful, organizing our rooms so that we were all on the same floor. I only have two complaints. One is that the water in the shower only had two basic temperaturesm: scalding and cold. I’m not sure what the deal was, but we couldn’t find a happy medium there. The other problem, and this problem was true in other hotels in Portugal, was being forced to hold down the button on the hairdryer to keep it turned on. Obviously not a gigantic problem, but annoying nonetheless."
