「The lady owner was friendly and lovely from the moment I arrived. I was made to feel very welcome and was even treated to a plate of home made biscuits. The bed was comfy and I had an amazing night's sleep. Breakfast was served at a time that was convenient to me and everything was very fresh. The bread and jam were also home made. The property is in a very quiet location and in lovely gardens and provides a great place to stay during a visit to the lake district. 」

「Room was clean, the decor was in need of a refresh. The carpet on the stairs leading up to the rooms is very off putting and had me worried about the room itself. So I was pleasantly surprised. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was ok, plenty of hot water and the shower was great. Breakfast was very good and the staff were pleasant. 」

「We had a deluxe room with a patio. The room was large, but very dated and with stains and scuffs throughout. The patio was private (we weren't aware of that) so our bedroom opens up directly onto a shared patio which meant we couldnt have our curtains open to admire the view. The coffee machine was missing from our room as well. The spa was nice, but very small. It was overcrowded when we went with people queuing inside the spa for beds / steam room, and also queuing to access the spa. We had...

「Very quiet, cozy & comfortable Inn. Although located in a remote area of Lake District, easy to find & can reach other spots easily. Must try the dinner at the restaurant which is very good with reasonable price. Only the towel rack in my room is not working which is a minor stuff. Furthermore everything in the breakfast seems overcooked.」
