The room felt spacious with the sitting area. It was so clean & pleasant. Loved being able to walk to restaurants & the ocean! Friendly staff.

Outside of the 2nd floor ice machine which was out (and the walk to the other seemed like a mile), the hotel was fine. Parking was easy, but there is a median which prevents parking lot entrance on one side of the hotel. Staff was friendly, and room was adequate.

The employees were so friendly and took great care of everything. The one I didn't like was that since our room was close to the housekeeping room we could hear and feel when they were doing laundry.

I loved the layout of the hotel and the decoration. It was spacious inside, even though it is not a large hotel. The Breakfast room was huge and the variety of choices excellent - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, bagels, and waffles with the usual choice of coffee or tea. The atmosphere was calming and gracious and the staff was always kind and helpful. I want to go back.

A great place near everything in Santa Cruz
The front staff were very helpful and friendly. The underground parking was very secure. The beds were very comfortable. My son and I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub each night. The people working the breakfast shift were awesome. There was always plenty of food, hot and cold. There was plenty of seating for anyone who was eating. The patio would have been nice to eat at, had it not ben raining all three days, which is not their fault. It was really a nice place that was in the middle of everything we wanted to do in the bay area. We will definitely come back here if we return to the bay area

Everything was fine EXCEPT there was no hot water. The front desk told me one of the water pumps went out at the beginning of our stay and wasn’t sufficiently fixed to pump enough hot water. However, the hotel adjusted the price of the room for our inconvenience.

Did a 3 night stay. Room was big and nice, little pull out couch, couldn’t find the refrigerator at first but realized it was “in” the dresser. Lobby was clean, look up and see the jellyfish. All the staff were friendly and helpful - Monique and Juana were great. We liked the secure garage parking. Great location - it was a toss up between here and the Best Western a block away, I can’t speak to that hotel but glad we stayed here and will be back.

Impressive
This hotel was conveniently placed in a great area of Capitola. There were nearby coffee shops, surf shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was clean quiet and had free parking in a gated garage under the hotel. We will definitely stay here again!
