"Centrally located in the metro area. Easy access to shopping & dining (walked to PF Changs 1mile each way). We appreciate this place so much for the friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, quiet facility, ample parking, free breakfast and amazing value! The pricing seems to be higher, probably due to "ski season" but my research shows that it is still amazing value for a room of this quality in a great location. We hope the rates go back down when it's not "winter". My Quote marks are because this winter ski season has been dismal at best. Keep up the good work, our friends at Crystal Inn Midvalley! See you next time!"

"No signs on building sp finding it was difficult. First room they gave us you couldn't close the door all the way to lock it. The carpets are disgusting everywhere, in halls and rooms. Graffiti was on the wall in the bathroom. We didn't try the breakfast considering how dirty the place is kept, they've never heard of a carpet cleaner. Even replacement room was dirty, the mattress was stained and dirty. I would never recommend this place. Run, no matter the deal hotel.com offers. If we weren't so tired from driving, we would've left to find a good hotel."

"Greeted and lovely staff! Nice lunch at the onsite restaurant. I arrived late morning and was accommodated an earlier check in before my conference nice touch! "

"Overall, the Metropolitan Inn was... OK. It was reasonably clean and it looked like they were trying, but... Pluses: - The room was clean, no doubt about it. The linens all smelled faintly of bleach, so they were doing their washing well. - Water pressure was good, and I never seemed to run out of hot water. - Location wasn't bad at all. Right in the heart of the city. - Service was good. I lost my key card at one point and they issued me a new one without any hassles. The card turned up in my car so all was doubly good. Minuses: - The pictures on the Expedia site and on their own site do NOT reflect the rooms. At least not my room. - There was one quad power outlet in the room outside of the bathroom, and it was not next to the bed. Made phone charging while using it as an alarm clock a challenge. - The A/C was rather loud and there was a lot of light from the bathroom window (I had to close the door) making it harder to sleep. - There was no breakfast. Fortunately, Little America was across West Temple and had a nice coffee shop. - I stayed four nights and only had maid service for the room once, sometime during the day on Friday. Not a big deal, but... Overall: As part of my travel package, it was very affordable. The mattress on the bed was good and comfortable, and it looked like they were working to renovate rooms, but I'm disappointed that their marketing oversells the place. "
