Bed was above average as hotel beds go. They popped a $20 a night parking fee on me at the desk, which was pretty lame. The desk people were pretty average, even slightly annoying and unhelpful. The "Fitness Center" was about 90 percent cardio with very little else. They could have easily taken out half the cardio equipment and replaced it with anaerobic machines. On Expedia it said it would be $139/night but it ended up being $200/night. Next time I stay in SLC I'll probably be staying elsewhere. Marriott downtown probably.

Great value for the stay with the suite (sitting area separate from bedroom). The suite was near the elevators and ice machine, so yes, it was noisey. But the bedroom with the door shut made for sleeping without noise from the hallway. The parking is an additional $20/vehicle, which was a surprise, and I do not think they tell you that. Overall, clean, comfortable, and conveniently situated downtown.

Room was fine, so was the front desk. My issue was the quality of goods for the price wasn’t up to my expectations. Their restaurant for example charged $42 for Ribeye and gave you half the steak it was so slim definitely not worth the price. Also paid for breakfast. Didn’t include my whole family. Just two adults and two children. I was told to pay extra. I go to hotels cheaper in cost and receive a free buffet for the entire family. Also their snack store has marked prices but I was told my ice cream was a dollar extra then priced. It was not honored. If you have money to blow and don’t mind then go about your day. However if you’re on a budget for vacation be aware of extra costs.

Great location, very nice rooms, awesome amenities and the overall condition and feel of the property was very good. Front desk employee however was pretty rude at check in. Room wasn’t ready on time which was not an issue but when I asked about timing of availability his response was rude and dismissive. When trying to eat breakfast this morning at the property restaurant, the one employee working the floor made us feel as if we were taking up her time and not really welcome. Never got a chance to place an order and we went elsewhere for a meal. The Starbucks employees were all amazing, friendly, and very efficient! Would stay here again and recommend this property to others but the lack of staff professionalism is a big problem.

When i checked in, everyone was offered a cookie, but when someone saw me to check me in, they didn't. I was deeply offended. Also, i asked for half an hour extension to my check out, but they denied me and asked me to vacate. I had a meeting i needed to attend online so i had to find a quiet place to attend it. The hair conditioner was empty when i arrived. I asked for replacement, but I didn't get it. Bad experience overall
