"We spent four nights here Our room was attractive but a bit too small with little room to maneuver around the king sized bed. New mattresses might be in order as ours was very soft and by the end of our stay was downright uncomfortable. Our room was quiet except for one night when a loud group gathered outside a bar on the corner. adjacent bar. We were able to walk to restaurants, shops and attractions. There is paid onsite parking. The garage was nearly full both weekend nights when we returned from visiting with family but we managed to find one open spot. Breakfast options were varied with plentiful seating. Pool was nice. We’d stay there again."

"We enjoyed our stay at the cove very much. The unit was about as big as my home studio apartment. 2 queen beds in a separate bedroom and another queen fold out in the living area. The bathroom was also spacious and well lit. The kitchenette was great but would be even better if a small microwave was added. The community microwave in the “play room” was better than nothing but a wee bit of a distance for us. The ice machine worked once in the 5 days we stayed. Bought bags of ice at the liquor store a short walk away. We really appreciated the combo for the storage closet so we could grab extra towels, cups and coffee. We’d rather not bother the office folk so it worked out well for us. The office peeps were friendly and helpful and it made our stay all the more pleasant. It was a busy few days at The Cove while we were there. Once a couple of ladies tried to get into our room before they realized they had the wrong room. Two other nights (one at 3am) someone banged on our door then left. We assume it was another case of mistaken room. We enjoyed the outside area with fire pits, bbq grills, a giant jenga game and comfy swinging chairs as well as standard tables and chairs. The upstairs game room was fun, too! Our 9 year old boy enjoyed playing foosball with a Dad as well as the snacks in the vending machine but it really needed refilling. We liked the microwave popcorn but less than 1/2 actually popped. That happens at home, too. Parking was plentiful. Good location."

"I LOVED the Salem Inn. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was such an amazing addition and the staff were friendly and helpful. The witches brew coffee was a fun way to start a day in Salem. I stayed in the Curwen House and it had a sherry nightcap available every evening - which was such a cute and fun touch. The location is perfect because it is right downtown, without being on top of the action - so you can walk 5 minutes but still have your quiet room at night. I would stay again in a heartbeat."
