「We have stayed at Alpine River Cottages many times over the years, and for a good reason. The location is central to both Bright and Myrtleford, without the business of either town. The cottages overlook the tranquil Ovens River, where in Summer you can swim and enjoy the natural surrounds. 「The property was in a good location and would have been really good but it needed a very good clean! The floors were very dirty and it didn't look like they had been vaccumed or washed」

「Nice big apartment with sectioned off balcony area. Great old pub (good food too) and worth a stay!」

「The Armour Motor Inn is located conveniently in Beechworth. On one side is a short walk to the historical centre on the other is a short walk to the Chinese Gardens and the lake. Friendly helpful staff made the stay most comfortable.」

「It was easy checking in since they send you all the details a few hours before you come. There is no reception, but staff are responsive when you sms them. The place is clean, but it would have been better if both bathrooms had provision of toiletries. The shampoo, conditioner and soap were only available to one of the bathrooms, so we just ended up using one when it would have been easier to be able to use both given that we are family. One of the toilets had something dripping from the roof so...
