A couple of minutes from Bologna metro stop. Very safe but quieter area. Lots of young people around. Some great restaurants nearby. The hotel was great - very comfortable beds, excellent shower, very clean, staff could not have been nicer, breakfast excellent. A perfect base for a city break.

Hotel Quirinale
Didn't use the A/C. Disappointed with the view so we were moved to a higher up room but the view wasn't much better.
