Die Duschbrause war mit Schimmel überwachsen, Zimmer abgewohnt. Entspricht überhaupt nicht mit den Bildern überein. Ich kann die gute Bewertung von anderen Gästen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la chambre d’hôtel de Dorine. Elle était simple mais très propre et fonctionnelle. A deux pas du métro, parfaite pour visiter Rome. Dorine a été incroyablement gentille, à l’écoute et au petit soin avec nous. Nous recommandons vivement son établissement et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Good apartment in Termini area

Perfect for two kids and two parents, with two bedrooms with bathrooms. No great view from windows, but great area, if you like the Termini area. We find it to be great and central, with a great mix of people, as it can be expected close to a central station. Graffiti and poor people, mixed with hip high-society and the roman pulse of the busy city. We ourselves lived close to central station in Copenhagen, Denmark for 8 years from 2001 to 2009, and loved it. It is about the same mix of people, with a roman touch. Traffic and people around the clock, but the apartment itself is quite mute, even if you can sense sirens and trains - but only charming city pulse in our mind, not too loud. Fair size combined kitchen and living room, suitable as base for eating out or simple cooking at home. Apartment, bedrooms and bathrooms quite new and good. Be aware that this is more like "bed and breakfast" than hotel. But very great people and instant answer on the chat. We arranged for pickup in the airport and also back to airport on return-date. Fair price and good service, by the nice people. For breakfast, roman style coffee and pastry at Espresso 32, just two minutes from apartment - again great service and very nice people. We loved it. We could definitely stay the same place, next time in Rome.

Facile da raggiungere e buona posizione. Host gentilissima così come il titolare del bar dove si fa colazione. Benvenuto con prosecco e acqua, biancheria in abbondanza. Condizioni della stanza assolutamente migliorabili: parquet con rigonfiamenti, carta da parati con qualche strappo, copriletto macchiato, vaschetta dello scarico che perdeva, supporto doccia rotto. Bisogna lavorarci su…gentilezza e benvenuto ok ma la struttura deve essere manutenuta… Ci tornerei? No, troverei alternative…

Service is excellent and extra friendly. Breakfast really Italian (juice, coffee and sweet bread). The only thing to add is I thought it was a hotel, but is kind of an AirBnb. Just to notice that.

Find et andet sted!!

Vil ikke anbefale dette “hotel”. Ingen service overhovedet. Personalet er svære at få fat på, og snakker desuden intet eller kun meget lidt engelsk. Vi blev ikke modtaget ved ankomst, og måtte ringe til et nummer vi havde fundet på hjemmesiden. 15 min senere ankommer udlejeren og låser prustende døren til vores værelse op. For at komme ind til dette værelse, skal man låse en meget gammel og besværlig dør op, som kun er mulig at låse op, når man har noget erfaring med den. Dette resulterede flere gange i, at min veninde og jeg måtte stå udenfor døren og vente på, at udlejeren kom forbi, så han kunne åbne op for os. Alle gangene grinte han af os, i stedet for at undskylde, og tilbyde at lære os, hvordan man åbner døren ordenligt. Morgenmaden der følger med, skal man desuden hente på en lille café på en anden gade, hvor man kan vælge en croissant og en kaffe. Ikke lige, hvad vi havde forventet. Vi fik ikke skiftet håndklæder undervejs, og værelset blev kun gjort rent en af dagene undervejs. Vi sov dog fint i sengen, og stedet lå dejlig tæt på Termini, når man skulle til og fra lufthavnen

Clean, comfortable and convenient.

The building is a short walk from a Metro station. There are several restaurants nearby, as well. The room was not big, but big enough for us. It was clean and comfortable. We parked on the street the first night for €11. A free space opened the next morning so we moved our car into it and let it sit for the final 2 nights.

Bella struttura, proprietario gentile. La colazione molto scarsa, caffè e brioche. Siamo stati due notti e non è venuto nessuno a pulire e rifare il letto, non è stato rifornito il bagnoschiuma che abbiamo comprato per il secondo giorno.

Cosy, clean and cosmopolitan!

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Vanella Rome Domus from the 25h to the 31th of October 2019 with our family of four (two children 7+9 years old). Vanella is situated quite near the Termini station and also near the Metro which makes it easy and convinient to get around. Many of the sights are also easy to reach by taking a short walk. The area in which we lived can be referred to as "cosmopolitan" - a mixture of different nationalities. The neighbourhood might at first glance seem a bit rough but we never felt unsafe in any way. Nearby is a lovely food market with food from all over the world and several really good restaurants: Italian/Roman and also Indian just to mention some. What makes Vanella special is the great friendliness and hospitality of the host, Ion, who drove us from and to the airport and was most helpful in every way! The room is beautiful and clean and we were welcomed with fruit and sweets and Prosecco for the parents:) Lovely!

I did not get a chance to stay at this hotel. When I arrived with my friend, the host was unavailable and made us wait at the property for over 30 minutes. I informed the host the time we would arrive so I’m unsure as to why we waited so long for him to come to the property. Then, he informed us that the room had a broken toilet and he took it upon himself to find us another room. When he showed my friend and I the other room that was found, it was not to the standard of the room I paid for. The towels were stained, there was no soap in the bathroom, and the bed did not look clean. I told the host I was dissatisfied with the room and he informed me that this was all he could do for the evening. So we had to stay in a sub-par room when I already paid for a 4-star hotel experience.
