First and foremost Paolo is beyond helpful. Any question I had he was quick to respond, recommended places to eat. Helpful with how to get around. The area was a skip and a hop away from Vatican, bus and train stop, lots of good places to eat and shop. Would definitely stay again.

Very helpful host. Provided many useful, time saving and money saving tips. Very good communication and service. Only deducted some points due to the building being under exterior renovation and the room needing some updates. However, considering the location in proximity to the Vatican, good restaurants and shopping this is an excellent deal.

We recommend this! It was a simple room, very clean, good space for two people, was exactly what we needed for one night in Rome. SO close to the Vatican, extremely convenient. It was simple and it was nice! It is a good choice for wanting to be near the Vatican.

Liked the location Liked the tips provided by the owner Bathroom a little small (compared to US standards) Bathroom shower stall was quite small to enter and had mold that we wished was cleaned. So too under the toilet bowl. Location is excellent for access to Metro, Vatican and Taxi stand. Lovely streets close by to enjoy evening strolls.

The accommodation was very clean and the owner was very helpful to us. We didn’t realize it wasn’t a hotel as it is just a few rooms he rents out. The building itself was very unique and quiet though. The only downside was the street was under construction.

Excellent!

The property was lovely and kept very clean and maintained. The location is excellent around Vatican City, with many shops, restaurants, cafes, and of course the Vatican Museum, Basilica, and Sistine Chapel all within walking distance. The host, Paolo, tended to my every need and question promptly and was so kind and helpful in every way, especially with my flight delay and a very late check-in. I highly recommend this booking for solo or couple visitors to Rome!

The location is great especially if your interest is vatican city. The air conditioner was not working properly. We couldn't sleep one night was really hot. The rooms are i 6 Floor. One time the elevator was not working.

Great Location

We never saw or met the hotel manager. It is an apartment bldg and we were left the keys in the room. The location to the Vatican was great and a close by taxi stand. I would rather have a front desk person to speak with so it was a little odd to us. Upon entry it looked marvelous until the first one in face planted from tripping on a step that wasn’t seen as the large luggage was rolled in, blocking the view. The shower looked great, but fell apart when first used. The floor was quite warped as the shower must have flooded the beautiful wood floor some time prior. There was a small wobbly desk that was really the only table that could be used with the ‘tabletop ironing board.’ Couldn’t use the little table as it didn’t come up to my knees. I was afraid to keep flopping the clothes to be ironed as there was a very fragile glass light on the corner of the small table, and the coffee set on the other side. Just wasn’t much room to iron. However, we loved the double window, its shutters, and room darkening drapes. The mini fridge kept the drinks just above Luke warm. We liked the old building and it’s feel of walking back in time. But our American ‘size’ gave us little room in the elevator, and thru the doors. The place was conceived to all our desired stops, so it balanced our likes and dislikes for this space.
