This hotel is very small. The room is lovely, small but no different than any other hotel near by. Staff were helpful. Whats wins it for me, is the location. This hotel is based in a great location between the Vatican and Coliseum. There is not shortage of restaurants just explore

Staff was great, location is great (minute walk to Piazza Navona) but if you’re tall you will hit your head if in the room I stayed in (I’m only 5’8” and hit mine several times) and the ac was so weak it was so hot in our room we used th jacuzzi as a cold bath to cool our core temps down so we could sleep in the heat. Fixing that ac is just too easy and there no excuse for the hallways being colder than our room was . Giglio de oro (our room) is like the attic converted to a room) the other rooms didn’t seem as rough with working ac and no low beams.

Super central! can't beat it for that. But what blew me away was how clean it was, and the service of the cleaners each day! They even folded by PJs. The room was spotless upon returning from sightseeing each day, it was truly remarkable. Absolutely spotless. Plus staff were super friendly. The bathroom did have a slight "old drain" smell at times, but I think this is largely unavoidable in a 14th century building in central Rome.

Cant belive the price

We are usually planners months ahead for our trips. Planned an Italy trip last minute and was worried on rooms. We found this one that was on the extremely low end for price being so close to Piazza Navonna and in the middle of the most polular sights to see. The location and AC was all we really cared about. But how nice it was was extremely surprising. Clean room, good AC, has a mini bar you can keep a few of your own drinks sonewhat cold, 2 min walk from tons of places to get good food and gilatto, 13Euro taxi ride to the train station with the taxi stand literally 1 min walk away, nice couch in the room for possible 3rd person and they fill your water bottle every day no charge. If I had to nitpick anything at all it would be that the shower drained slow..... but every review of any smaller hotel in Europe says that. Wasn't an issue at all. Really have no idea why the room was so well priced.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were amazing and the location was perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only downsides were that the shower could have been better and the pillows weren’t very comfortable. Other than that, everything was excellent!

We love the hotel, the room and the location but the last night there was a very bad smell in the bathroom that got into the room. Like the sewers. It was very disgusting. After certain hours there is nobody at the reception and It was already late when this happened. We just put water to run, sprayed a bunch of air refresher and go to bed… it was hard to fell asleep with the smell. No having anybody at the reception and charging extra money for checking in after 10 pm is not ideal. Other than that the room was super nice, clean and the location excellent

The staff here were amazing! The taxis went on strike and hotel staff helped me to move my bags, store my bags, etc. They turned what could've been an awful situation into a workable and enjoyable day. So grateful!

It was on a quiet side street and close to the Piazza de Navona so there was plenty of restaurants and activity. The rooms were fine and comfortable and we loved the large windows but we were there during a heat wave so we keep the shutters closed. Bathroom was fine but a bit tight. The staff were lovely and our room was cleaned every day with new sheets and towels. AC worked great.

We had stayed here previously and loved it, now it is fully automated and it has list its appeal. Also the ameneties are terrible, the a/c blows to the window not the room, hair dryer is awful, bathroom is actually really hot- maybe nice in winter but in summer we do not need heated floors. There are not enough pillows.

Need more staff at hotel. Staff seems overworked. First day very friendly and accommodating. On our return from Florence .. staff was unfriendly and only talking to European guest on a friendly tone whereas with us he puts on a long face . Made us feel unwanted n uncomfortable.
