Our 4 night stay at Bocca di Leone was good overall. The location, room size, and breakfast were great. However, communication could be improved since no one reached out prior to check in. We arrived around 6pm and had to call to get instructions, which directed us to their partner restaurant to complete check in. About an hour after arriving, I then received their automated pre check in message. The towels and sheets also had light stains, and because there is no on site staff, I had to message and later call the host to request fresh towels after two days. Overall the stay was comfortable, but clearer communication and better attention to cleanliness would make the experience smoother.

The room size was huge, the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and the location was excellent and safe. It does have an elevator. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, very spacious room. Had a problem with shower but this was dealt with as soon as we reported it. Breakfast is provided at a cafe across the street. Limited options, but orange juice was fresh and we really enjoyed everything. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We loved it!

Our first impression of the Bocca di Leon Luxury Apartments was wow!! We had a large, beautiful room on the 4th floor, accessible by lift/elevator albeit this is probably the smallest lift/elevator I have ever been in. The bedroom was tastefully decorated, with marble flooring and stylish mood enhancing lighting. We had a huge king size bed, which was super comfortable, a large flat screen TV, and a spacious bathroom with a large walk in shower. To top it all off, we had a massive Jacuzzi bath in our bedroom, as well as a balcony overlooking the Bocca di Leon, which had sun loungers and even a pull out sun awning. The apartment was absolutely spotless, apart from a few paint scuffs on the bathroom door and one of the walls, but these are easily remedied.

We lucked out with this accomodation. Less than 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps and walkable to the Vatican this was at the heart of the city. The accommodation itself was huge. The suite offered a large communal area with comfy sofa bed for our little one, and large King sized bedroom for ourselves and the a separate bathroom and shower room. Give we stayed 4 nights the space, along with the smart TV with all the apps was perfect. Breakfast is at the restaurant over the road which is t an issue but the selection is poor compared to the quality of accomodation, just an American or croissant and single coffee. Despite this we would recommend this accomodation to anyone. Felt far more luxurious than the price suggested.

Serena was nice, but never saw her after check-in. Didn’t know where to leave the keys at the end. Room was nice but hot water slow in coming. Thought there was a communal rooftop terrace but on a 4th floor rooms. Elevator was quaint but claustrophobically small. Breakfast (free) at the restaurant across the street was limited-Italian (coffee, OJ and a croissant) or American ( coffee, toast, bacon and scrambled eggs) - no substitutions. Nice area, near the Spanish steps.
Getting in the front door was a challenge every time - unusually finicky lock.

Beautifully updated hotel. Great location to Spanish Steps and shopping/dining. Host wasn’t at location (didn’t know), but a quick phone call and we got the keys to the room just fine. Elevator is very tiny, but works just fine. We stayed in room 101 which didn’t have room numbers on the door so we had to guess which door it was. That was a little odd. Room is beautiful and spacious. We only stayed one night as we returned to Rome and flew out the next am. The restaurant associated with the hotel graciously made us up some take away breakfast as our flight left before the complimentary breakfast would be served - that was so kind. Would definitely consider staying here longer the next time we visit! For the price and location it’s hard to beat.
