"This garden stay near the city was a wonderful stop on our way from the Pacific Coast to the Caribbean Coast. The pool was very clean and refreshing. Inid and her trusted companion Lucy were wonderful hosts. We ended up showing up early and were not turned away. Privacy was 100% being within the gates and the entire property is one huge garden. We were also lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves for the night. It was nice having our coffee next to the pool planning our next moves for the day and the breakfast was extremely tasty. I was not able to give a complete 5 stars only because of the property needing some maintenance, but other than that, it was one of my favorite places that we stayed. Would very much stay there again."

"I stayed at Villa San Ignacio for one night after landing late at the airport before beginning a motorcycle trip around Costa Rica. It turned out to be a very convenient and pleasant place to start the journey. The room itself was fairly basic, but it was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed for a short stay after a long travel day. What really stood out was the property. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, with a really nice pool area that makes the whole place feel relaxing and tucked away from the road. The restaurant was another highlight. It is a lovely space and a great place to sit down for a meal before or after travel. It added a lot of character to the property and made the stay feel more special than a typical overnight airport stop. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made arriving late in a new country much easier. Overall, Villa San Ignacio is a great option if you are arriving late or need a comfortable place near the airport before heading off to explore Costa Rica."

"Apartment came with living room kitchen bath and bedroom with a nice view of the river below. Parking was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious in the morning with a wonderful batado (mixed fruit smoothie) along with gallo pinto."

"The blinds were so thin you can see inside the rooms. The door had no locks from the inside. Ants were always everywhere even at dinner time. Only one sweet lady who did an amazing job running the entire place and it seemed like I was the only one there at the time. This spa is not a good place too stay. Not even an iron or air conditioner was in the rooms at all either and list goes on. Stay away!"
