"The host Barbara was very friendly and welcoming, and her property is beautiful! We enjoyed relaxing in our room and the AC was essential to catching up on sleep. The rooftop views of the ocean and walking distance to the main street completed our first day in the island. "

"The All Inclusive is not a true All Inclusive since you do not get to eat pool side and select from the regular menu and since the drinks are limited to the least expensive beers wines and well drinks with alcohol so rough it will make you gag.
Everything else was fine even though their grey water irrigation or the garden does not smell good. Its jsually done overnight"
"We were upgrade to an Owners Suite, but it didn’t have an ocean view, but the extra amenities were worth it. Breakfast was delicious, and the beach was gorgeous. Staff were top notch. Lounge chair views were obstructed by beach vendors on one end, but we always seemed to get a lounger with unobstructed view. Afternoon snacks and Champagne were a nice touch. We will definitely be back!"
"This was an incredible stay! Likely the nicest resort we have ever stayed at, we were impressed by the meticulous grounds, friendly and kind staff, and beautiful location. We stayed with our 3 kids and enjoyed the whole experience. The additional beach activities, game room and delicious breakfast made for a wonderful experience."
"Comparing the wide type of hotels, this would not be considered a luxury hotel. But if you are a scuba diver, then this is as close to luxury as you will find. They have tons of boats, so can accomodate a huge group of divers. Staff across the board were helpful and friendly. Service was generally quite fast, again considering the number of customers they had. I also enjoyed the food and drinks."
"Overall we really liked it there. We stayed in the Junior Suite overlooking the plaza and had a nice balcony. The walls in the bathroom were noticeably dirty and had drips down them and need a good cleaning. Everything else was clean, that part was just noticeable as where the toilet is you really see the walls close to you. The staff were all really nice."
"An absolute gem in West End!
Staff is fantastic all around. We never had contact with a staff member who didn't greet us, smile or ask if we needed something. We want to recognize specifically Santiago and his never wavering positive attitude and genuine desire to assist.
Our room was exactly what we needed, cleaned everyday, quality fixtures, tasteful decor and fully functional for our needs with a nice outdoor patio.
The boutique-style hotel offers a coffee shop, Bean Crazy, which serves a nice included breakfast menu, or for less than $20 USD you can have a full breakfast which will fill you right up. The coffee is roasted across the hall and is delicious.
Need a souvenir? Attached to Bean Crazy you'll find it at a reasonable cost.
On site security officers kept the hotel and beach area across the street at bay and were always friendly.
During ceuise ship days expect the beach areas to get busy, but never fear Mr. Tucan's keeps a beach chair for you. We never were without a chair for our 10 day stay. The beach area is kept clean by the local population.
The bay has a large buoy area for snorkeling, swimming and paddleboarding. The beach area is fairly shallow throughout, usually not exceeding 10 feet.
If you're looking for local food, entertainment and shopping it is all within a short walk and we never had a bad meal. From street side stands to upscale dining this area has it all.
All-in-all there is no need to look elsewhere. Mr. Tucan's is a top pick."
"Hotel is dated but definitely clean, and well kept. Staff is helpful and provided good customer service. The beach needs to be cleaned, too much seaweed and many rocks, no able to enjoy it. The good options are limited and lacking flavor, the beverage choice is lacking as well. Hotel is located a bit remotely and leaving the facilities will cost you a fortune. "
