"The service was amazing. The entire staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The room was beautiful. The jacuzzi in our room was perfect for relaxing before bed. The pools were incredible. I highly recommend renting a Bali bed on the beach, it was extremely relaxing and worth the additional cost. The spa was absolutely gorgeous and offered a unique experience. We loved our 85 min messages. We were so relaxed, my husband and I both feel asleep. I chose Secrets Akumal after researching various resorts and reviews. It was everything I was hoping for and more. If you’re looking for a relaxing and luxurious resort with a low key vibe, I highly recommend Secrets Akumal! You will not be disappointed!"

"Everything about this property was amazing! The unlimited food and drinks were great, our butlers in the family selection were awesome. The only downside( which was a big one) was the beach was unusable due to the amount of seaweed. The whole stretch of beach was closed off and stink from a ridiculous amount of sargasso. I really wanted a beach vacation, and sadly that didn’t happen."
