「The stay was awesome 」

「Great location! Amazing staff」

「Waited 20 mins at front desk to get checked in cause there was no staff; there was no breakfast during breakfast hours; room smelled musty and the water smelled like eggs; bathroom floor was dirty behind the door like someone threw up in the floor; walls were paper thin was woken up at 5am to someone above us banging like rabbits」

「The bathtub is full of dirt, the drain is clogged, the room facilities are outdated, and it is the dirtiest No. 6 motel I have ever stayed in」

「Don’t expect breakfast even tho it says it’s included unless you want peanut butter and jelly or toast with jelly and butter. Jailhouses have a better breakfast. 」

「Oh my goodness. Never had such a terrible experience. I checked in , paid , entered the room. There’s a woman sitting on the toilet seat open door in the room. She and me both screamed. I ran to the reception, told her the story and guess what she said to me… there are squatters who enter the hotel!!! Or another guest who entered the room to use the toilet. When I asked how a squatter or another guest can enter the room like this she blamed the housekeeper. She said sometimes they don’t close...

「Was not at all what I expected, tub had cigarette burn marks on them」

「Three pillows whiles in the bedsheets & stains on the sheets & comforter. Blinds broke door barely closed because of damages. Sink in bathroom had burn marks all over. Bathroom door had baseball size whole through it. Fake nails on the bathroom floor. People walking by all night long music blaring from parking lot all night long. Absolutely disgusting.」

「I checked in and was assigned three different rooms, all of which were unsanitary. Towels were visibly dirty and brown, bedding had hair on it, surfaces had dried residue, and the toilet was unclean. The conditions were not safe or fit for occupancy. I left within minutes and did not stay. A manager verbally confirmed I would receive a full refund, but the hotel later refused to honor it and contradicted themselves when speaking to Expedia. The hotel and Expedia then passed responsibility back...

「Red roof inns can be hit or miss. But dog owners love them because of their pet policy. I have stayed at 100 Red Roof Inns. I can count the ones that I would stay again on one hand. This one was clean and had a comfy bed. The tv and toilet worked. And the staff was great! I always get nervous for my car in parking lots that have a lot of day and night activity. But you can request to park right in front of your room, and the area is well lit. I never felt unsafe.」

「Staff was very courteous and helpful. Everything seemed clean and neat. Laundry room was clean and easy to use. Breakfast items were good. A $100 safety/security deposit was required but it was explained well. I would stay here again when I return to Raleigh.」
