"We were a bit disappointed because the hotel description on hotels.com said the pool would be open in April, but when we checked in we were told that it wouldn't be open until May. The outside pool was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel - my daughter was really looking forward to playing in the pool. I wish the description online had been revised to mention that the pool would be open only after memorial day. "

"The room keys don’t work well. I had to have 5 different room keys made and even the desk clerk could not get my door to open. He had to put me in a different room. Only 1 out of the 2 room keys for the second room worked, and I had to slide it in and out several times to get it to work. The breakfast was not very good. The hair dryer did not work. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only other thing this hotel has going for it is location. Very convenient to state fair grounds, PNC arena, NCSU football stadium, NCSU vet school."

"The prices were hiked up for a hockey game and lowered drastically when one team was out of the playoffs. It’s a nice hotel, but I docked them 2 stars for this reason. I completely understand off-season differences, but this drastic based on team’s success seems a bit shady"
