"The hotel was good overall - there are plenty of positive attributes to report. It is clean, welcoming, and the beds are very comfortable. The staff was capable and provided a pleasant check-in. However - this is the "big however" - the horizontal rolling/French door to the bathroom in our room was installed improperly without the necessary stops. As I closed the door to the bathroom using the metal door handle, the door kept moving past the door frame, causing bruising and blood on two of my fingers, which were caught in the doorway. If a child or another person of lesser physical awareness or someone simply closing this door with just one finger without expecting a problem were to use this horizontal sliding door, they would either severely bruise, break, or sever a/multiple finger(s). It really is that severe of a problem. We reported this problem to the staff and it is unclear whether it will go up the chain far enough to effectively resolve. Everything else about our stay was very good. Yet, to prevent substantial and potentially life-changing guest injuries (and major hotel liabilities) this hotel needs to fix the doorstops on this room (228) and examine others to be sure that everything is safe. Thankfully I only have two badly bruised, painful fingers. It could have been much worse. "

"So clean I felt safe taking a bath! Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well stocked, waffles are a must for me! Star deducted for the AC having a smell when turned on, but it didn't cause problems with my allergies so probably just hadn't been used recently. Not a fan of the smell of shampoos provided, the hand soap was unscented though and that was great since my family has scent allergies."

"They loved my dog Stella, giving her homemade treats and a cute bandana! Very welcoming everywhere at the property including the formal dining room, she was complimented the entire time on her exemplary behavior. The staff here is second to none, the room stunning as well as the lodge and the views. Next time we will make sure to bring some grocery items since it is VERY remote, but a wonderful place because of it."

"All in all is was a good place to stay .. a few exceptions.. the HVAC made a load noise when it came on ..I noticed it at first and then my girlfriend said the same thing .. it woke us up a few times.. and we ended up turning it off .. same issue with the doors for other rooms on the hall .. sounds like a small bomb when people leave or enter their rooms ..did not get out room cleaned after the first day but no big deal .."

"The pool was cold and the hot tub was lackluster and grimy. The slugde was so bad someone had wrote "WASH ME!" on the side tile and of the pool and hot tub. The room smelled like a hippie, and there where mysterious brown stains in the bathtub. Staff was nice though 👌"
