「Very spacious room. Bed could have been a little more comfortable but was adequate. Close to many walkable sites. The room access cards kept failing once or twice a day which was annoying but all the staff were helpful and friendly. Laundry was a pain as it was very expensive and had to be provided to them by 8am if you wanted it back the same day. We took an Uber to a coin laundry and it took an hour and was cheaper including the cost of the Uber there and back」

「First time we’ve stayed here , and being relatively local, visit Newcastle often. The hotel is classy and comfortable, with brilliant staff . A few minutes walk to the Glasshouse and located on the quayside with some great restaurants and bars nearby. Parking was easy with hotel reserved parking at the rear of the hotel. Without a doubt, this will be our first choice for overnighters in Newcastle.」

「Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. 「Check in was quick and easy. Staff were helpful and polite, even moved me from a room in the inn to an annexe room so I could be away from noise from bar. Also had a very good breakfast which is extra but excellent value for money. Definitely recommend it hotel and breakfast.」

「It's a fantastic place to stay, but the wallpaper which is fab could do with glueing down in the room we stayed in 132. Also herb sausage is not breakfast sausage, maybe do just pork or beef sausage. Everything else was fantastic lovely stay.」

「I am going to celebrate my husband's wedding. The hotel is cosy and unique, it has a nice restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast during our stay, and a small library bar where you can chill with friends. The room is spacious and warm, we love this hotel.」
