"La atencion por parte de la señorita que esta en recepcion es pésima, las toallas me las dieron hasta el dia siguiente de haber ingresado al hotel hasta medio dia , y porque tuve que hacer presión, el ruido es demasiado hasta despues de las 3am apagan la música. "Overall I rate this resort 7.5/10 The sargassum is VERY very bad, the first night we arrived I (not exaggerating) nearly vomited, it is insanely bad smell, every time we left the room we got hit in the face by the smell, defo avoid if you are sensitive to smells. We did get used to the smell though We arrived May 30th and the place was about 25/30% full which was great for us as we like peace We were very disappointed as the buffet was only open for breakfast the time we spent there which is quite misleading as it says there is a buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner The breakfast was REALLY poor!! I was so disappointed with the options, they also did not have fly fans to keep flies away so anything that’s not hot, fruit, salad, cheeses, bread etc etc were COVERED in flies which is insanely gross!! 12pm-5pm there is 2 restaurants available with decent amount of options for food& the food was 7/10 in both places There is a coffee store which is not too bad although one lady pre-batches her espresso so it’s not fresh, it was not busy enough for this to happen. In the same store there was drinks, beer&chips you could use your points for which was awesome! We didn’t use all our points For dinner there are 2 restaurants, the Italian was so good!! The pizzas were to die for! The steak place was below average, we only went twice as we preferred Italian Overall the service from the staff was really good, I do not see myself coming back because the smell & secluded area& no beach"

"Hello past and future guests, We are seasoned travellers and have stayed at resorts in Mexico like Planet Hollywood (Royalton) and Hilton Mar Caribe. Booking through Expedia was easy, and we travelled the first week of June 2026, flying Porter via Pearson to Cancun. We arranged private transfers with Nexus, which went smoothly. We loved our stay at Royalton Riviera Cancun, where we had a two-bedroom presidential swim-out suite and upgraded to Diamond Club. The resort was very clean, well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Food options were plentiful. Our favourites were Zen, Grazie, and the Caribbean restaurant. The buffet even featured lobster one night. However, the Hunter Steakhouse was disappointing. Room service was good but often took about an hour. Diamond Club perks, like the lounge and quieter breakfast restaurant, were worth it. Each pool had a different atmosphere, from party vibes to quieter spaces like the Diamond pool. Evening entertainment, the sports bar, and the disco were enjoyable. Special thanks to Juan at the Diamond pool and our butlers Mauricio, Eduardo, and Irving, who made the stay exceptional. A final tip: relax and don’t over-plan. Issues may happen—we had check-in problems, a flooded room, sand flea bites, and sargassum—but everything was handled quickly. Enjoy your travels and tip well!"

"VOLVERÉ!!! La atención y su comida son un espectáculo! Cada una de las personas que nos atendió se esmeró y cuidó de nosotros. Este ha sido uno de los mejores hoteles que he visitado en mi vida. Mi hijo lo disfruto al 100! Este lugar es mágico por su gente y por sus instalaciones. GRACIAS A CADA UNA DE LAS PERSONAS que nos atendió, a cada una de ellos que desde nuestra llegada hizo de este lugar, nuestra casa! NO DUDEN EN ESCOGERLO al momento de tener vacaciones con sus hijos. PERSONAL calificado como ningún otro."

"Everyone was really nice and the staff learned your name the day. They were always welcoming and called you by your name. The rooms were really clean and the housekeeping service was always on top of it. My steamer didn’t work and within 15 mins they brought me an iron."
