"Great place to stay, staff are lovely and rooms were tidy and clean. This is our forth time staying here. Kids club was good for the 6 year old staying with our whanau, lots of activities to keep kids entertained and snorkelling out the front was great. Horrible smell outside our room think it’s due to renovations but could only smell it when leaving the room and not when relaxing on balcony which is the reason for 4 star."

"Situated in a lovely well laid out property in the South Western area of the island. 11 km from the main town. Quiet and peaceful,except for the Roosters!! Breakfast is great with a good selection of cereals, fruits and juices, breads, for toasting, plus.tea or coffee. A pool on site and a nice beach across the road. Kayaks and snorkeling gear are available free of charge. I,as a non driver, rented an E Bike and used busses and the occasional taxi which worked OK. However a car or scooter would be more convenient. Vicki and Naomi in the office were great. Always cheerful, friendly and helpful. As we're the grounds team and the villa servicing team. A very nice 11 night stay"

"Everything was awesome. Small unit but very clean and updated. Common areas are well-kept and beautiful. Beach is right across the street. Parking on the street is a bit of a drawback, but other than that I recommend this accommodation, and I would definitely stay here again."

"The Magic Reef was just what we had in mind and we had a great stay. There was some early misses on how the fans, AC and stove worked but quickly remedied. The pool was attractive but no one actually uses it as the ocean around the island is much better. The conceiege and management were so nice and so accommodating. Hiking the needle was worth the time and effort. Bruce is the best guide - try to get in a small group, even if in the afternoon. We hope to be back some day"

"We stayed at 3 locations during our 2 week trip and Sanctuary Rarotongan was by far the best😊 The room, location, staff and daily activities were amazing. We are planning a return trip to Rarotonga next year and will be booking here again no questions asked. All staff were beautiful but a special shout out to Sake at the bar. Ron at reception and Va in the restaurant they made our stay memorable"
