「FYI: this property is in the middle of a huge remodeling project. Half the "amenities" are either not open or shouldn't be. Knowing which building (as there are several) that's used for checking in should have been sent beforehand - checking in at the General Store is not intuitive. The girls there were great, very informative. The room was clean EXCEPT for the floor which likely hasn't been cleaned EVER. We had to keep flipflops on or else the bottoms of your feet are so dirty...just...

「I stayed in the cottage for 3 nights with a friend of mine. It was a perfect base for us to explore the nearby mountain roads for daily drives, such as the Tail of the Dragon. Bill was super friendly at the front desk and gave us helpful tips such as a hike to a nearby amazing waterfall. The cottage was clean and tidy on the inside, a 70s vibe with wood paneling and furniture and a small kitchen with everything we needed. There was coffee, filters and plenty of towels. 「This hotel was in the perfect location. The property was well maintained, the staff was excellent. I should have read a little deeper, I wasn't thinking it was going to be more of a motel layout but with that aside it was nice. The pool wasn't open for a day when it was really hot so that was a negative and I felt like the floors could have been a little cleaner. But overall I would stay there again!」

「Dinner was excellent with great service. Breakfast was ok. Picnic lunches were good. Place needs a deep cleaning. King room bed was comfortable but the floor carpet was super dirty. Guests walking upstairs generates lots of squeaking. Summer room was dirty with very old sofas. We felt walking around chairs were dusty and the property should be in better condition given the prices.」
