「Hemlock #1 was amazing! The only problems were that it was very hard to figure out how to get to in the dark. Parking was an issue for us since I have mobility problems. You have to park above or below the unit and walk to it. That would have been good to know when trying to find it in the dark.」

He provided some helpful hints as we were traveling over to Brevard and then the Smoky Mnts. - such as, sites to visit and scenic drives. Enjoyed visiting with him. 「Great location on the lake. My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them. 」

「Cute little motel. Most motels are pretty sketchy, but this was a cute little building that my wife and I loved. I took off one star from the clean writing because the first night there was dog hair or something on our comforter on the bed and on the first layer of sheets under that but once we notified them they took care of it immediately.」

「The hotel is under renovation but very clean overall. The only issue I had were some barking dogs and when I turned on the heater it made a high-pitch squealing noise before it actually kicked in and quieted down. Other than that my stay was excellent.」
