「The staff were nice enough. The motel is older. It honestly didn’t smell musty even though it was older. It was relatively clean. You are paying for location mostly. They did have a pool and laundry on site but I didn’t utilize either. This is super close to a busy street so you hear all the road noise and everyone in the motel because it’s old and not insulated well. 「It was a refurbished property. The location of the property was not ideal. It is good for a night stay if you are on a road trip. Everything else is subpar.」

「Room wasn’t ready when arrived at check in and when I came back received a handicap room by the elevator. Why would you give someone a handicap room unless requested and not tell them upon check in. There for four days saw house cleaning once. So if you don’t clean often, why are rooms not available. Improvements are needed for the $$.」

「The hotel offers beautiful views of Lake Erie. You can literally walk right up to the water. Both of the rooms we booked were clean and nicely decorated. The hotel staff were quick to help and very friendly. It's a convenient 15 minute drive to Presque Isle State Park, which offers a ton of fun outdoor activities, including beautiful sandy beaches! 「The towel rack at the sink fell apart the first time I tried using it. There were no bars of soap in the room -- a basic for any hotel. When I asked for one bar at the front desk, I was told the shipment hadn't arrived. Breakfast was also disappointing. Small cubes of scrambled instant eggs, stale bread.」

「The hotel was reasonably priced for the Fourth of July weekend, which was a plus. Unfortunately, the rooms were very dirty. The air vents were completely covered in dust, and our room didn’t have central air—only a window air conditioner. If you’re not planning to use the indoor water park, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The staff weren’t outright rude, but they also weren’t particularly friendly. They were probably dealing with a lot of kids and stressed guests because of the holiday...

「Check-in & out was fast and simple. The room was clean. It very, very, helpful to have a refrigerator and microwave-my daughter has diabetes and sometimes need food right away. The staff at breakfast was super helpful and friendly. There were a lot of people, but they kept everything fully stocked, which kept the rotation moving. I will return to this location in the future.」
