「Wir haben ein Upgrade bekommen mit Meerblick im sechsten Stock! Da wir in der Nebensaison verreist sind war es zwar sehr ruhig aber am Strand auch nichts los! Die Damen am Empfang waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! 」

「Room was clean, comfortable and they made up the room and supplied new clean towels daily. Breakfast supplied had bagels, doughnuts, and cereal and coffee. Gentlemen at check in friendly, polite and very helpful. Only downside was no elevator and I was on the 3rd floor, so I didn't 」

Place was clean and I especially loved the heated pool. Nice balcony with table and chairs. Washer and dryer was a plus. 「The hotel is really old, which probably explains the poor soundproofing. The bedding was also super uncomfortable, so I didn’t sleep well at all. Worse, I woke up with red rashes all over my body. Compared to other hotels nearby, this place is just not worth the price. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it. 」

「The owners were so kind and welcoming, the place was lovely the provided free bikes for us to use which we did every day. The hotel is close to the boardwalk, and it was so nice and convenient for a late-night walk around. I'll definitely be coming here again.」

「I was thoroughly happy with the Chalfonte Hotel (though I actually stayed in the "Southern Quarters," which is next door as a sort of add-on to the original). The accommodations were built in 1876, so of course the rooms are smaller than people are used to now, the hotel doesn't have elevators, and travelers can hear things go bump in the night. The room still had old marble-topped desks! Check-in was easy. The "breakfast room" was pleasant. I was happily surprised to discover that parking...
