First time staying at the Starlux and I’m happy we did. Rooms were clean. The pool and hot tub were a nice surprise! Parking is included and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will return on our next trip.

Stayed here with my wife and five kids. The location was perfect, the room was super clean, and the staff were very friendly. Other than not realizing there was only one bathroom for the 7 of us (my fault, not the hotels), this place was perfect.

Bikes and beach chairs included in your stay. Breakfast across the street, diner a block down the street, plus airstream camper coffee and mini golf as part of complex. Two ice cream places out the front door. Cross the street on boardwalk at convention center. Staff very helpful and friendly, rooms clean and modern.

TLDR: Overall a solid experience, I would recommend this place to families. Stayed a week with two young children (in a suite) and both sets of grandparents (one set in a suite, one in a standard room). It was a good experience for everyone. The good: super close to the beach, closer than I expected. Close to ice cream shops, breakfast places, mini golf and hang out areas. Free beach chairs and bikes, balcony (for the suite) to shake out sandy towels and clothes. The pool was on the smaller side but was enough for a 6 and 3 year old. There's a little game room with a pool table and TV too. Ample and reasonably close parking. A free washer and dryer on each level. Housekeeping was wonderful and the desk staff were helpful. The suite worked well for kids. Both good and bad: The area itself is pretty quiet, but the golf course plays music over the speakers which is nice during the day, but it goes on through the evening. If you have a light sleeper bring a noise machine. The bad: the property is a little dated/old. The beds weren't super comfortable. The beach itself is close, but there is a fair amount of beach to walk through before you get to the ocean, bring the wagon with the fat beach tires. It is a bit of a hike to the main boardwalk area. The standard room is on the smaller side.
