Glass House Inn Erie Near I-90 & I-79

"I booked early and got a good deal on the room- it was only around $120 per night. The staff was very nice, there was a prayer card on the bed, and the room was decently clean. But I wouldn’t have been very happy if I’d paid more. The motel is on a pretty busy road, and there was a weird old smell to the room. Some of that might be because people are constantly smoking outside. Every time we l when in or out we’d have to walk past smokers. I think a huge improvement would be having a smoking area somewhere that isn’t right up against the building. The light continental breakfast was surprisingly decent, had a waffle maker and fresh coffee plus some pastries. We didn’t use the pool but that’s nice to have. Overall I think this is a great choice on a budget, but I wouldn’t pay more than $150/night personally."

"The hotel was sparkling clean and everyone on staff was exceedingly welcoming and helpful. Location was a great, centralized spot for activities in the area - from restaurants in Ashtabula to wineries & beaches in Geneva. Breakfast items were regularly replenished and different hot items were featured daily such as spinach and cheese crustless quiche and biscuits and gravy. Beds were comfy and the place was quiet. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"My children and I stayed in the family room. It was perfect for what we needed, close to presque isle, 3 beds, fridge with freezer and microwave. There was a mouse that visited our bathroom at night. Note that there is NOT any free breakfast on weekdays."
