"Absolutely fantastic hotel! Staff is great, rooms are great. Conveniently located. If in Ashtabula definitely stay at the Riverbend hotel. Great hot breakfast included. Eat at Bridge city tavern. Walking distance. Great frood and brew."

Since we were there for a High School anniversary reunión we did not have time to visit many places. We visited Lake Erie and some wineries. Went to a Park on the shore of the Lake and to the Harbor. Downtown Ashtabula is like a ghost town though.

Highly recommend the wineries in the area, Bridge Street in The Harbor and Geneva On The Lake for families.

Visited Ashtabula Harbor and loved the area with the Bascule Bridge and Bridge street shops. Also stayed at the David Cahill B&B and also excellent!
