"Great location and lovely rooms. The bed was super comfy and we had a great sleep. Though hotel was very busy it was also very quiet. The hotel is also very pet welcoming. Only food available in the evening was in the bar and to be honest the menu is not appropriate for a large hotel with only 4 starters ( of which one was unavailable) and six main courses - 4 of which came with boiled rice. This really needs improvement. The waitress ( there was only one) was lovely, very busy but also very courteous , attentive and friendly. Breakfast was continental but lots to chose from and good, fresh produce. Would absolutely stay again but unless menu changes would eat in nearby Helensburgh."

"We showed up much later than expected and were greeted by a very cheery, welcoming host. Room had a renovated bathroom and lots of amenities. Bedroom furniture could do with an upgrade but comfy. Full Scottish breakfast in the morning was the best we’ve had yet!!"
