The owners were lovely, they even did my washing for me. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was within walking distance of many dining options and breakfast was on site and tasty. The staff were also very nice. I would stay here again.

Fabulous seaside hotel

Lovely traditional seaside hotel in Largs, ideally placed for the beach. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and our hosts were so friendly and nice. My adult daughter and I stayed for 2 nights with our dogs and we had a fabulous time. Thank you :-)

After my friends came down with sickness and couldn’t host us anymore I was worried about a backup plan the day off on a busy weekend. The Woodhouse was available at a fair price! It’s cute, cozy, has great views, is very walkable and has a great atmosphere! The breakfast for £7 more was well worth it! The people who own and run this are amazing! So kind and helpful! Will be staying again even if my family is healthy!

An absolute gem of a place, perfect hosts, amazing food, and the most comfortable bed ever. I will certainly be back I have stayed in places that charge twice the price that are no where near as nice as here.

Lovely Short stay holiday at Woodside Hotel

Spent 3 night stay with family. Rooms were warm and comfortable. Amazing breakfast thanks to Willie and Lillian (proprietors) and we decided to have our evening meals in the Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed all that we had " Compliments to the chef." Everyone was kind and helpful and a special thanks to Rebeca for her pleasant way in serving us our meals and drinks and to the lady who helped us in with our bags. Would recommend the Hotel for dog owners.

Honest Stuff..

The building decor is past it's best TBH, but clean and great staff. Breakfast was very good. Bed comfortable and room quiet. Garden bar is popular, though simple. Evening menu doesn't look inspiring but probably fine. In fact during the stay the hotel grew on us. The hotel is 10min walk north along the promenade and just back from the front
