「This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.」

「This was a gem of a find just steps from the firth at Irvine. Lots of little shops nearby and a huge shopping mall just a 10 minute walk away. 」

「Amazing welcoming staff in all areas - delicious bar food and al la carte Rooms comfy, loud bathroom fan which you have to turn on as no window but for what we needed close to the races and anyone playing golf with the beach and sea a stone throw away - highly recommend 」
