「Good but no elevator ..」

「The Bresoles Hotel is in the heart of old town Montreal. The rooms are more like studio apartments with a large open space, equipped with a kitchen, living room and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is also spacious and has a washer and dryer, a rarity when booking a hotel. I love the Boarding Pass, which allows easy entry into the building and room. 「expired shower gel and shampoo, lots of dirt on pillow, very old electronics, light bulb fall off when switching… 」

「This is a complete unmanned/self-service hotel. If you don't have enough strength and persistence to walk up ~40 stairs with 20 kg luggage, don't choose this. Another impressive thing is that the stove top was packed in a box and placed on the top of the microwave (close to the ceiling). So, the only way of cooking in the room is by using microwave, in the perfect-looking kitchen! I understand that cooking with stove top may cause cleaning difficulties, but a great accommodation is not evaluated...

「Excellent location. No lift to the second floor so unsuitable for elderly visitors with heavy suitcases. Nicely furnished and decent bathroom. Problem with TV remote was reported to our host but not dealt with. Would still recommend to others as overall we had a very good experience staying there.」

「The room was very spacious and very clean. The kitchen and bathroom were also very clean. The location was perfect and close to everything in walking distance. I would highly recommend this place. I got an email before arrival with the room number code, and code to enter the building. This made it a smooth and easy entry.」
