The building itself is beautiful—full of charm, stunning architecture, and lovely decor—right in the heart of the historic district. 「We loved this boutique hotel and we stayed here for 9 night. Mid stay we received an upgrade and wine however we had to ask for it. The view was Amazing! Breakfast was delicious and healthy. Everyone who was assisting us was very helpul and friendly. Not the best area around the hotel but we felt safe. The room was very clean, hotel was beautiful decorated with art and special touches. If we ever come back to Quito we are going to stay here. 」

「A hidden gem in the very heart of the historic district. An old Spanish colonial house with an open courtyard. Walk 5min to the Basilica and the Plaza Grande. Lots of good restaurants around too. Full of green plants lovingly cared for (even polishing the leaves) by the staff. Mariam and her staff were super friendly and looked after me really well. It was truly a pleasure to stay there and I look forward to another visit.」

「The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast delicious. This hotel was also in as great location! You have to use common sense at night time because the area becomes a little unsafe, but it’s perfectly fine during daytime. 」

「Muchas gracias por todo. Es un lugar bonito, histórico, tradicional. Para sentir el sabor del centro de Quito. Un viejo edificio remodelado y bien adaptado para viajeros frescos y acostumbrados a conocer los rincones típicos de una ciudad con el ritmo local. Hay que subir escaleras y hay que disfrutarla vista matutina o el atardecer. Si desayunas temprano, ya estuvo, verás la niebla que baña el horizonte con su frescura sabrosa. La atención, espléndida.」

「A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.」

「Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury.」
